Johannes is a Partner at KHAN Technology Fund and Head of Therapeutic Antibodies at Lead Discovery Center GmbH. He holds a PhD in chemistry, is a certified European Patent Attorney, and has over 25 years of experience leading antibody drug discovery programs from early research through first-in-human (FIH) clinical trials, with a strong record in technology development and IP strategy. Prior to joining LDC, he held senior leadership positions at U3Pharma/Daiichi Sankyo, overseeing antibody development and patent management. Dr. Bange also serves actively as a board member for several biotech companies and brings hands-on expertise in building, scaling, and clinically advancing antibody and therapeutic programs through collaborative industry and academic partnerships.
